Start with the furniture geometry
A mechanism should be evaluated with the real frame, seat depth, back angle, cushion thickness and movement clearance. A familiar mechanism name does not guarantee that every version shares the same mounting geometry.
Define the expected movement
Document the closed and open positions, user interaction and required clearances. Confirm whether arms, back panels or floor contact create restrictions.
Request compatible production information
Share drawings, photographs, intended quantity and existing part references with ODI Furnex. This makes it easier to compare the available mechanism configuration without relying on assumptions.
